I am a full-time freelance writer and an expert in credit cards, travel, and general personal finance. I have been writing about credit and credit cards since 2008, and I am widely recognized as an expert in this industry.

I also have a broad range of experience writing about travel subjects including family travel, loyalty programs, destinations, and service articles (the how-to of travel). Furthermore, I also hold a commercial pilot’s licence, which allows me to write authoritatively on aviation related subjects.

When I am not traveling to visit friends and family, speaking at conferences, meeting industry leaders, or vacationing across the country and the world with my family of 5, you will find me in my home city of Denver. I might be biking through the mountains, snowboarding, or taking in a Rockies game.
